Vinny “Zane” Kabanov, founder of Thinking Minds LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners and Entrepreneurs for dedication, achievements, and leadership in special education.
Mr. Kabanov is a proven leader in the field of education with more than two decades of experience to his credit. In 2019, he founded Thinking Minds LLC, an organization dedicated to providing high quality special education services to young students in need. Adjacent to his latest endeavors, he has also served in special education teacher support services for the New York City Department of Education since 2013. Over the course of his career, Mr. Kabanov has also committed himself to coaching high school basketball, and he originally excelled as a paraprofessional for the United States Department of Education in Brooklyn, New York, between 2005 and 2006.
As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Kabanov pursued his own formal education, originally earning an Associate of Arts in liberal arts at Kingsborough Community College in 2004. He subsequently attended the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and received a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice in 2006. In conclusion of his studies, Mr. Kabanov attended Touro College, where he achieved a Master of Science in special education in 2014. In addition to his academic credentials, he also holds several teaching certifications. Attributing much of his success to his parents, Mr. Kabanov looks forward to continuing his ventures as a teacher for many more years.
