Lisa Ann DeNuzzo, Estate Owner at Daisy Meadow Farm, LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in music education and horseback riding.
At the start of her professional journey, Ms. DeNuzzo went to college on a pre-law track, but soon realized she could not live without music and transferred to another institution to pursue her passion. Subsequently, she earned a Bachelor of Music in violin performance from Baldwin Wallace University in 1983 and a Master of Education in music pedagogy from the College of Saint Rose in 1985. From there, Ms. DeNuzzo took her talents to the classroom, in which she taught music at the Duanesburg Central Schools and the Greater Amsterdam School District, while also teaching violin out of her private studio, Lisa DeNuzzo Violin Studio, beginning in 1986. As a freelance violinist, Ms. DeNuzzo has played shows with Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, Peter Frampton (British Rock Symphony), Don McClean, Rosemary Clooney, Debby Boone and Englebert Humperdinck. She is also a former section violinist with the Catskill Symphony Orchestra, Utica Symphony, Glens Falls Symphony, and Schenectady Symphony.
During her college years, Ms. DeNuzzo took a horseback riding class and fell in love with the sport, as well as the horses. Today, she excels as the estate owner of Daisy Meadow Farm, LLC, which is home to state-of-the-art horse breeding and training programs. In addition, she is the owner of the Multi-World and Grand National Champion Morgan Show Horse Stable and a five-star Airbnb host to the estate, having hosted countless celebrities. Previously, she owned Touch of Elegance from 1990 to 2010, which provided music for weddings, cocktail parties, college commencement and more. To remain abreast of her fields, Ms. DeNuzzo maintains membership with the American Morgan Horse Association and the United States Professional Horsemen’s Association, along with the New York State Teachers’ Retirement Association. Looking toward the future, Ms. DeNuzzo is considering going back to school to work on her second master’s degree in social work. She also hopes to give back to her community by turning her equine farm into a pro-bono therapy farm.
