Following coursework at Cape Fear Community College and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Mr. DeHart began his career installing sprinkler systems from 1996 to 2004 with All About Irrigation in Wilmington, North Carolina and subsequently provided superior service from 2006 to 2010 as a sales manager with Advanced Metal Roofing in Wilmington, whose worth he helped advance from $4 million to $10 million. He excelled as a Cavalry Scout for the United States Army National Guard from 2002 to 2010, during which time he served in personal security attachment in Iraq.
Since 2010, Mr. DeHart has prospered as owner of All About Energy Solutions, a premier firm offering radiant barrier insulation, air leaks, attic ventilation, blown insulation, crawl space, mold remediation, LED lighting, solar panels, crawlspace insulation and home energy audit services. Mr. DeHart and his team offer free home inspections to prospective clients to assess their properties and offer solutions on how they can save money each month on their energy bills. Every inspection includes a 12-point energy analysis that includes a series of tests on hot water heaters, doors and windows, HVAC units, attics and crawlspaces, and other key areas. To commemorate his accomplishments, Mr. DeHart was honored to be named to a local 40 Under 40 list for his professional achievements. His company was also recognized as the Number One Installation Company by Encore Magazine.
As a career highlight, Mr. DeHart cites being a father to his two young children. He had grown up without a father and makes sure that he takes this role very seriously. A gifted collegiate athlete in wrestling for the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, he now volunteers his time through i9 Sports coaching soccer, golf, and flag football. He also maintains that one of his greatest achievements has been serving on the board of Veterans Memorial Reef, a non-profit his Veterans Administration doctor initiated.
