Since 2019, he has operated as the owner and president of BRC Construction & Development LLC, which he originally founded in 2002 as Built-Rite Construction LLC with the help of his late son, Anthony. In his role, he oversees numerous daily projects in Nevada, Colorado, and northern California. Prior to founding his company, he worked extensively in the Colorado Springs region for several years. Mr. Hopkins began his vocational journey by honorably serving with the United States Army and National Guard from 1987 to 1991, during which time he accrued a wealth of experience in his chosen professions.
Mr. Hopkins previously pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Science in project management at Colorado State University. Furthermore, he holds a contractor’s license in the states of Nevada, Colorado and Washington. Having accomplished much during his time in the field, he largely attributes his success to his dedicated work ethic and perseverance. In the coming years, he looks forward to the continued expansion of his business, and he hopes to employ more individuals from his community and eventually pass the company on to one of his grandchildren in the future.
