With a decade of experience to her credit, Ms. Blackburn has quickly cultivated a career of excellence across several entrepreneurial endeavors. She first began her career as a business owner in 2012, taking ownership of Aspire Home Health Care Services LLC, where she continues to work as an administrator. In 2016, she founded Blackburn Investment Company, and in 2019, she became the owner of LB Properties. In addition to continuing her other three businesses, Ms. Ashburn also became the co-owner and operations manager of Whitetail Acres Wedding and Event Venue in 2020.
Across her various business management positions, she has held customer care and satisfaction in the highest regard. In this manner, she identified the need for a proper event venue in her community, and she treats each of her patients like family as part of her health care operation. Adjacent to her primary vocational interests, Ms. Ashburn remains active in her local community as a civic-minded citizen. She notably remains active with the Rotary Club, her county’s Republican central committee, and the local chamber of commerce.
As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Ashburn pursued a formal education. She began her studies at The Ohio State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in health sciences, cum laude, in 2011. She subsequently continued and concluded her studies at the University of Northwestern Ohio, where she received a Master of Business Administration in 2016.
In light of her fulfilling career, Ms. Ashburn largely attributes her success to her drive, in addition to the love and support of her family and friends. Having always been interested in owning her own business, she naturally gravitated toward an entrepreneurial profession, and she is glad to have worked alongside her two sisters in many of projects. Accounting for her numerous achievements, Ms. Ashburn is most notably proud to have left a positive, lasting impact on her children.
