A registered dietitian nutritionist, Ms. Papu prepared for her career at Tufts University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in international relations and affairs, and a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 2015. In 2018, she graduated from Pepperdine University with a Master of Science in the institution’s didactic program in dietetics and human nutrition. Ms. Papu went on to study at the University of Western States, obtaining a Master of Science in functional medicine and human nutrition in 2021.
Alongside her formal degrees, Ms. Papu has earned numerous professional certifications in her areas of expertise. She holds a Health Coach Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, as well as a CPR certification, a bloodborne pathogens certification and an Automated External Defibrillator certification from the American Red Cross. In 2019, she was certified in DTR by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, and in 2018 she became a Functional Medicine Practitioner with Mind Body Green.
Ms. Papu is the founder and has been a registered dietitian nutritionist with her company, RawkalebyRaquel LLC, since 2021. She is additionally a consulting dietitian with Laboratorios Garden House and served from 2020 to 2021 as a dietetic intern with Priority Nutrition Care. Ms. Papu was a nutrition intern with Beboon in 2011 and Susan Dopart Nutrition from 2016 to 2017. She served as a research assistant with Pepperdine University in 2017 and completed an additional clinical internship at the Ronald Reagan University of California, Los Angeles, Medical Center the same year. From 2018 to 2020, she contributed her expertise as a registered dietetic technician with CURE Daily.
To keep abreast of changes and developments in her field, Ms. Papu has maintained affiliation with the International Society of Sports Nutrition and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She attributes her success to her discipline and recalls that she was always interested in pursuing a healthy lifestyle from a young age. Ms. Papu considers the highlight of her career to be becoming a registered dietitian while having two young children and working in a hospital. In the coming years, she hopes to help the young adolescent population pursue healthy lives and maintain their nutrition.
