Title: Co-Owner
Company: Heavenly Hill Farm
Location: Foley, Minnesota, United States
Philip N. Jurek, Co-Owner of the Heavenly Hill Farm, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in construction and raising livestock.
Since 2009, Mr. Jurek has found success as the co-owner of the Heavenly Hill Farm. In this position, he cares for the farm’s goats, including morning and afternoon check-ins. He feeds them, gives them fresh water, and administers any medical attention they may need. Mr. Jurek grew up on a dairy farm and believed he would raise cattle beef after graduating high school. After working in construction, he met his wife, who previously raised goats. He learned more about them and decided to raise goats instead.
Prior to his work at the Heavenly Hill Farm, Mr. Jurek garnered experience working in construction. He obtained his diploma in heavy equipment operation from Central Lakes College in 2006 and became a Certified Crane Operator with the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators in 2018. Among his accomplishments, Mr. Jurek is proud of one of his male goats being named a permanent grand champion. The goat received its third grand champion point at a show, which enables it to compete for the title of national champion. In the coming years, Mr. Jurek hopes to have 40 breeding does and would like to form a partnership with a local butchery or establish a direct supply chain to help deliver his farm’s fresh goat meat to customers.
