Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Peralta pursued an education at the College of Technology in Manhattan, from which he initially earned a bachelor’s degree in computer networking. He concluded his studies at the aforementioned college with a bachelor’s degree in industrial electronics. Following these accomplishments, Mr. Peralta obtained various certifications in the field of information technology.
Beyond his primary responsibilities, Mr. Peralta has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his immediate professional circles. For more than 20 years, he served in the U.S. Army, during which time he advanced to the rank of army cyberwarfare sergeant and was deployed to such countries as Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa and Cuba. He has found much success with Hutch Studio in Baltimore, Maryland as well, which is an incubator organization that provides mentorship and support to tech entrepreneurs and companies focusing on civic efforts. Moreover, Mr. Peralta has notably contributed to a number of charities that support veterans, including the Wounded Warrior Project.
Mr. Peralta attributes his success to his excellent American spirit, his forward-leaning nature and his dedication to accomplish his goals, regardless of the challenges ahead of him. Drawn to the cybersecurity industry following his experiences in the U.S. Army, he is particularly proud to have been born in Brooklyn, served in the military and been surrounded by knowledgeable people who helped him refine his skills in multiple disciplines.
