She has been honored in Marquis Who’s Who of Professional Women and Legacy publications and featured in a Marquis Magazine cover story. Among other accolades, she was named to the Women of Influence in Real Estate, listed in 40 under 40 in National Mortgage Professional Magazine, and a recipient of the Latino Who’s Who Award. Leading with her motto, “kindness and truth,” Ms. Franks cites her constant drive and “magnificent team” as being responsible for her success throughout her career. Her goal is to continue to grow ACT Appraisal, Inc., and make it one of the country’s best in real estate.
Ms. Franks’ early love for real estate inspired her to start her appraisal management business after completing high school. She remembers perusing neighborhoods for the sole purpose of looking at houses and soon became interested in the entire process of purchasing a property. This unprompted practice and realizing that everyone needs a place to live solidified her resolve to get involved in real estate. She advises that the industry is only for individuals who are serious about helping customers to secure a home, which is one of the most important and personal purchases in people’s lives. Married with two children, Ms. Franks describes having the opportunity to assist families in this effort as especially gratifying, since family is most important to her, and she counts her team members as family.
