L. Stephan Vincze, president and chief executive officer of TRESTLE Compliance, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners and Entrepreneurs for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of business administration.
With more than three decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Vincze has cultivated a fulfilling career as a business leader and entrepreneur. Specializing in business administration, management and law, as well compliance and regulatory procedures, he has served as the president and chief executive officer of TRESTLE Compliance since 2017. The company is well-regarded for providing critical administrative services to businesses focused on life sciences. During his time with the company, Mr. Vincze has also served as an interim chief compliance officer as needed, while his primary duties largely involve him designing, implementing and operating new compliance and privacy programs.
Prior to joining TRESTLE Compliance in 2013, when the company operated as VFE LLC, Mr. Vincze was the senior vice president and chief compliance officer for Warner Chilcott in 2013. Likewise, he was the director and a non-equity partner of Deloitte from 2008 to 2013. He also previously managed his own brand, Vincze & Frazer LLC, as the president and chief executive officer from 1998 to 2001. At the onset of his career, Mr. Vincze operated as the defense counsel for the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. from 1993 to 1995.
Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Vincze pursued a formal education, originally earning a Bachelor of Arts in history and economics at Columbia University in 1982. He subsequently continued his studies at SMU Dedman School of Law and achieved a Juris Doctor in 1988. After receiving a Master of Laws at the Georgetown University Law Center in 1998, he ultimately concluded his collegiate career at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he earned a Master of Business Administration in 2006. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Vincze is also licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas.
In his civic-minded endeavors, Mr. Vincze recently joined Compliance Week’s advisory board in 2020. Furthermore, he has proudly volunteered and supported the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation since 2016, having honorably served in the United States Marine Corps from 1982 to 1955. Prior to exiting his service, he achieved the rank of major. Well-regarded for his creative output as well, Mr. Vincze is the author of the forthcoming book, “Winning with Compliance: Driving Business Performance with Integrity.”
To commemorate his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Vincze has been honored with several accolades over the course of his career, most recently including recognition for Best Life Science Commercial Business Compliance in 2022. Likewise, he received the GHP Biotechnology Award in 2021. In light of his fulfilling career, he is most notably proud to have inspired many individuals throughout his time in his profession. In the coming years, Mr. Vincze looks forward to publishing his book, as well as tackling new intellectual challenges.
