Mr. Long is an accomplished professional with more than 60 years of experience to his credit. For more than 45 years, he has been the owner of B.F. Long & Co., a home goods store founded by his grandfather. He inherited the business from his father, and when prompted to allow the building to be torn down, he refused. Mr. Long was intent on restoring the building and was able to put the store back in operation. He attributes his success to hard work and perseverance.
Before coming to own B.F. Long & Co., Mr. Long garnered experience as a salesman with Chevrolet. He attended trade school as an automobile and diesel mechanic, and for four years, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Long hopes to retire someday and train his son to the best of his ability. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife and deer hunting with his son and friends.
