Regina F. McNamara, RN, MSN, MPH, Owner and President of Always There Home Care LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in senior care.
Ms. McNamara is an accomplished senior care professional with more than 35 years of experience to her credit. Since 2008, she has been the owner and president of Always There Home Care LLC, and since 1998, she has excelled as the president of Kelsco Consulting. Ms. McNamara garnered experience as the vice president of Bristol Hospital from 1987 to 1995 and as an interim administrator with Atlantic Home Care & Hospice from 1999 to 2003.
In preparation for her career, Ms. McNamara graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1971. In 1983, she obtained a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Public Health from Yale University. She concluded her higher education at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, completing a fellowship in 1994.
Ms. McNamara was recognized for her professional accomplishments with a plaque from the Connecticut Hospital Association in 1993. She attributes her success to her education. To keep abreast of her field, Ms. McNamara maintains affiliation with the Home Care Association and the Connecticut Hospital Association.
Among her accomplishments, Ms. McNamara has been moved by the countless lives she has touched. She is especially proud of her status as the first nurse practitioner in Connecticut. In her spare time, Ms. McNamara enjoys caring for her dog.
