As a young man, Mr. McGee had an entrepreneurial spirit and began his company, Piedmont Paving, Inc., in 1991 when he was 25. From that first juncture, he has added three new business ventures to his portfolio. In 2007, Mr. McGee co-founded David McGee Properties, LLC., a real estate venture. He established Piedmont Recycling, LLC., in 2015 and co-owns Piedmont Paving Concrete. His drive to succeed has proven effective by providing a legacy that he can pass on to his four children, who are involved in his business enterprises.
Attributing his success to having superb people working for him and maintaining a stellar business reputation, Mr. McGee thrives in his pursuits. He hopes to continue managing his various businesses for many years before transferring ownership to his family. He belongs to the Lion’s Club, with which he became a member in 2017. In his spare time, he enjoys offshore fishing, golf, and outdoor sports.
