Mr. Kapi is an experienced contractor with more than 15 years of professional experience. In 2014, he founded the Kapi Restoration Company, where he oversees structure repair project management and works in the field. Prior to his current position, Mr. Kapi was a project manager with the Turner Construction Company in 2014, where he started in 2008 as an engineer and held the roles of superintendent, MEPFP superintendent, and MEPFP manager.
In 2005, Mr. Kapi began his professional pursuits as an intern with the State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company. In 2006, he was an intern with Whiting-Turner. To prepare for his career, he attended Michigan State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in construction management in 2007. Alongside his formal degree, Mr. Kapi is a LEED BD+C Accredited Professional through Green Business Certification Inc., a credential he earned in 2009.
Mr. Kapi first became interested in his field because of an innate interest in construction and mechanical engineering. He developed his passion through hobbies including Legos, Lincoln Logs, erector sets and TV shows about home restorations. He attributes his success to his parents, who gave him the drive to improve himself.
To keep abreast of his field, Mr. Kapi maintains membership with the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification. Committed to bettering the world around him, he contributes to various charities. In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding, traveling and restoring his 1979 cray boat.
