The Shock Tube has become an established part of the military equipment industry and was purchased for use in the United States by 3M and another company for use in France.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Cauble has accrued several accolades throughout his career. MIT and Harvard University published his writings on the Shock Tube, and the University of Buffalo utilized his system to perform concussion studies. His technology was implemented by the United States military to improve servicemembers’ battlefield headsets. He attributes his success to not saying “no” when faced with adversity and believing in his ability to think his way through any challenge. In the immediate future, he intends to continue researching and working in his shop.
