Mr. Swann is an accomplished businessman and entrepreneur with decades of professional experience to his credit. In 2023, he founded the Rocky Mountain Software Development Corp., and since 2016, he has been the managing consultant and owner of the Emmerth Consulting Group. Mr. Swann previously garnered experience as an independent consultant from 2013 to 2016.
In 2000, Mr. Swann began working for the Center for Educational Technologies as an accountant. From 2003 to 2004, he worked for a regional income tax agency as a customer relationship management (CRM) system developer, after which he was a senior accountant for Avbase Aviation LLC. From 2006 to 2011, Mr. Swann was a senior consultant with Deltek Inc., and from 2011 to 2013, he was a consulting services specialist with the same company.
Mr. Swann prepared for his professional pursuits at Wheeling University, graduating in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He attributes his success to his ability to listen and understand others. He prides himself on being attentive and working to identify and articulate the emotions of others.
Among his accomplishments, Mr. Swann considers his greatest achievement to be bringing together a team of people to finish projects, meet goals and move the company forward. He has employed his experience in financial systems throughout his career and incorporates financial and manufacturing best practices throughout the development cycle. Mr. Swann is proud to have worked with clients in a variety of sectors, including energy, aviation, aerospace, ammunition, manufacturing, food and beverage, professional services and nonprofits. In the future, he hopes to see the success of his newest venture, the Rock Mountain Software Development Corp.
