Mr. Nawab has found success as the owner of the Kaz Shooting School since 1994. His career began in the financial sector, in which he worked for Bank of America and HSBC Bank for a combined five years before deciding to follow his passion for shotgun sports. This passion led him to Houston, Texas, where he spent time as an executive shooting instructor at the American Shooting Center and subsequently opened a school on the campus.
Attributing his success to the support of his family and the desire to excel, Mr. Nawab obtained a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, magna cum laude, in 1985. He learned to shoot during his formative years, which led to his determination to utilize his skills in competitions, and after many successful endeavors, he became interested in teaching. After leaving the international finance sector, he diligently worked to become the best sportsman possible and earned a Level I Wingshooter Instructor certification from the National Sporting Clay Association in 1994.

Additionally, he supports the National Sporting Clays Association as a member. He participated as a team member on the Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Arizona zone team in 2009. He cites his most notable achievement as being ranked in the top 20 AA in the world in 1997.
In the coming years, Mr. Nawab aims to focus his attention on working with conservation groups such as Ducks Unlimited and the National Wild Turkey Federation, among others. He would also like to attract more people to shotgun sports and raise money to host tournaments. Outside of work, he dedicates his attention to spending time with his family, hiking, and investing.
