Mr. Agbay’s interest in martial arts was sparked by his father, who was a boxer. During his early youth, he undertook intense training and discovered karate. By the end of his mid-20s, he had taken part in various martial arts tournaments, and began fielding requests from personal friends to teach their children the finer points of self-defense. Beginning in his garage, which he transformed into a makeshift dojo, Mr. Agbay’s business expanded to recruit 30 students in the span of a single summer. They worked hard, trained relentlessly, and soon became champions in their local region. Since then, Mr. Agbay has strived to exert a positive impact on the lives of many.
In accounting for his success, Mr. Agbay largely credits his unwavering dedication, sincere compassion, and unapologetic expression of his true self.
