Miguel A. Ugarte, a managing partner at several property management companies, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of real estate.
Long dedicated to community service and embodying the tenets of his faith, Mr. Ugarte has distinguished himself as a member of the Pacific West Coast Region advisory board for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) since 2018. In this capacity, the FCA team utilizes the all-star talent and charisma of nationally-recognized sports figures in bringing Christian principles to children, young adults, and sports coaches. Actively catering the FCA’s services to inner-city and suburban youth, Mr. Ugarte has worked to imbue various communities with a renewed dedication to faith and family since 2018.
Having previously worked as a nightclub promoter in the San Francisco Bay Area for several years, Mr. Ugarte gradually felt compelled to rededicate his life to God and those living around him. Prior to his current endeavors at FCA, he availed himself as a member of the launch team for the Downtown Sacramento Campus and West Sacramento Campus for Project Church. He was additionally active alongside his wife with Project Care, a ministry that helped to provide food, housing and bill payments to those in the Project Church community.
Following this period, Mr. Ugarte went on to contribute to Project HEAL as the co-founder between 2015 and 2018, a Jesus-centric recovery group that was part of Project Church. Additional work to his credit included his fundraising efforts at the Sacramento California Dream Center, donations to Project Church’s outreach missionaries, and participation in a wide variety of nonprofit organizations, including Volunteers of America, the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, El Hogar Community Services, and Shelter Inc. Likewise, Mr. Ugarte is a member of the fundraising board at the Adventure Christian Schools group.
Apart from his work in the nonprofit sector, Mr. Ugarte has worked in real estate and mortgage lending for more than two decades, beginning as a house flipper in 2004 and later serving as a silent partner at a well-known mortgage broker for two years. Presently, he and his wife are the owners and managing partners of three property management and apartment companies – Victory Made Properties LLC, Ugarte Park Apartments LLC and Curtis Park Apartments LLC. Notably, he has owned, managed and rehabbed more than 88 units since 2014. In a career suffused with highlights, he is most humbled that he can serve nonprofit agencies and families in need by providing housing with over 40% of his rental units having been placed with multiple nonprofit organizations in his area, citing God’s glory with making this endeavor possible. He also fondly recalls that one of his properties located in Catta Verdera in Lincoln, California has been featured in the community magazine. Furthermore, Mr. Ugarte was admitted as a Master Club Award Member to the Placer County Association of REALTORS® in 2022.
