He collaborates with fellow consultants to strategically align company priorities. He began his career as global research director and index editor of business development for Dow Jones & Company, Inc. from 1992 to 2002.
Dr. Eustache worked as director of analysis at Aquila Merchant Services in 2002. He established himself as staff analyst in risk and compliance at the Nevada Power Company from 2003 to 2006 before transitioning to the role of program manager of risk, regulation, and compliance at Southern California Edison/Edison Mission Energy from 2008 to 2012. He garnered a stellar reputation as senior advisor to the chief executive officer of the Saudi Electricity Company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 2012 to 2022.
Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Estache pursued an education at Drexel University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in humanities and communications in 1988. He continued his academic efforts at the University of Pennsylvania, obtaining a Master of Science in energy management and policy in 1990 and a PhD in energy management and policy in 1993. He concluded his studies at the University of Phoenix, graduating with a Doctor of Business Administration in 2017. He holds certifications in energy subsidy reform, public financial management, debt sustainability analysis, macroeconomic management in resource-rich countries, macroeconomic diagnostics, and macroeconometric forecasting.
Among the many highlights of his illustrious career, Dr. Eustache is particularly proud to have pioneered the development of a highly successful electricity market hub in California and Central Europe, significantly elevating the visibility and market presence of Dow Jones & Company, Inc., along with other organizations. His efforts played a pivotal role in expanding and facilitating access to the electricity market for these entities. Much of his success can be attributed to a combination of determination, steadfast commitment to his chosen path despite challenges, a serendipitous alignment of opportunities, and a keen curiosity which drives him to explore innovative solutions to complex challenges. In the immediate future, he will be dedicating more time to volunteering and assisting individuals and small businesses less fortunate than himself.
