With nearly 30 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Decker has excelled as the president and chief executive officer for Airstream of Utah, Airstream of Wyoming, and Grand Buffalo RV Resort since 2016. Prior to this position, he was active as the director of Northern Mexico operations for Road 9 from 2007 to 2008 and the executive vice president for Millenniata from 2008 to 2016. He previously served as the owner and president of Arrowhead RV Sales and Service between 1996 and 2000. Mr. Decker began his career as territory manager for Triad Systems Inc. from 1994 to 1996.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Decker pursued an education at Montana State University Billings, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in history in 1989. Beyond his primary responsibilities within the field, he has contributed to organizations and efforts to support wounded military veterans. Moreover, he was notably appointed to the Airstream Dealer Council. Mr. Decker has been likewise affiliated with the RV Industry Association (RVIA) and the RV Dealers Association (RVDA).
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Decker has accrued several accolades throughout his career. In 2021, his business was recognized as the Best RV Dealership in Salt Lake City. Soon thereafter, his business would be honored as Utah’s Best RV Dealership in 2022. Mr. Decker has attributed his mounting success to the unwavering love and support of his family.
Initially finding success in the field of technology and automation education, Mr. Decker eventually became disillusioned by the constant travel and workload associated with his role, which inspired him to establish a business that could provide a much-needed service to a niche market near Yellowstone Park in Wyoming. Among the many highlights of his career, he is incredibly proud of founding his dealerships while simultaneously creating a legacy business that he can pass on to future generations of his family. In the coming years, Mr. Decker hopes to expand upon his ambitions for his RV resorts, including expanding Grand Buffalo RV Resort and potentially opening another in the Greater Yellowstone area.
