Before embarking on his professional path, he pursued an education at Rio Hondo Community College where he earned an associate of science in automotive engineering technology in 2002. He holds a certification as a project management professional and is certified by the Bureau of Automotive Repair.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Dizon has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was recognized as the Best Filipino Coffee Roaster in 2021. He attributes his success to the support of his wife and family who motivated him to work hard. His most notable achievement was establishing the Teofilo Coffee Company and giving back to his home country, the Philippines. He uses his position and his company to open people’s eyes to Filipino culture.
In the immediate future, Mr. Dizon’s goal is to franchise Teofilo Coffee Company. He also wants to buy his own land in the Philippines and create his own Teofilo coffee farms, hiring Filipinos to provide work in various communities. He also wants to grow the business in North America and develop another portal for his fellow Filipinos to reach their dreams. Currently, he is seeking to acquire a farm in the Philippines with plans to transform it into a unique model where the farmers own and run the business. Upon successful completion of this effort, he hopes to cultivate Filipino coffee in America, creating a value chain for them and inspiring Filipinos to follow his footsteps.
