Bruce Lawrence Kish, assistant professor of military science at Management Analysis Technologies, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in military and recreation.
With 36 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Kish has excelled as an assistant professor of military science at Management Analysis Technologies since 2023. He served in the United States Army from 1988 to 2022 in a variety of roles and positions. He established himself as a public affairs specialist from 1988 to 1991, a press officer from 1992 to 1995, and a deputy theater historian in 2005. He was active as a personnel actions officer and personnel services detachment commander from 1998 to 2008, commander of the 305th Military History Detachment from 2008 to 2012, and battalion commander of the 77th Special Troops Battalion and the 77th Sustainment Brigade from 2016 to 2018.
Mr. Kish continued his career as an adjunct instructor in the 83rd United States Army Reserve Readiness Training Center from 2010 to 2012. He held the position of equal opportunity program manager of the 316th Sustainment Command from 2012 to 2015. He garnered a stellar reputation as a theater Army historian from 2018 to 2022. At Decisive Action Sports, he found success as founder, owner, and board game designer.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Kish pursued an education at Butler County Community College, where he earned an associate of arts in humanities in 1988. He continued his academic efforts at Temple University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in journalism, minoring in history, and graduating cum laude in 1991. He concluded his studies at the American Military University, completing a Master of Arts in military studies and the American Revolutionary War, graduating summa cum laude in 2009.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Kish has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He was a member of the Butler Area Society of Homebrewers and designer of multiple programs for Decisive Action Sports, including “Classic Golf,” “Classic Hockey,” “Beer and Pretzels Baseball,” and “Hardwood Heritage.” In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the Delta Epsilon Tau International Honor Society, the Golden Key International Honor Society, and the Freemasons.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Kish has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with the Joint Service Achievement Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal, and was the two-time recipient of the Oakleaf Cluster. He was inducted into Who’s Who of Junior College Students in 1988 and named to the President’s List of the American Military University and the Dean’s List of Temple University.
