At Reservoir Description Services, he served as senior consultant from 1992 to 1993. He contributed to Industrial Computer Systems as manager of software development from 1993 to 1995.
Mr. Kisselman continued his career as manager of client-server software development and senior database programmer at Insurance Specialists, Inc. from 1995 to 1999. He found success as manager of software development and systems and processes analyst at InFlow, Inc. from 1999 to 2000. He was active as senior database consultant, senior project manager, and senior business analyst at Whittman-Hart from 2000 to 2001 before transitioning to the role of senior database administrator at Narex Inc, from 2001 to 2002. He was recruited as director of software engineering and database technologies at Graebel Companies, Inc. from 2002 to 2005 and then as manager of software engineering at Fair Isaac Corporation from 2005 to 2008. At International Reservoir Technologies, Inc, he was appointed to the role of senior consultant of petrophysics from 2008 to 2009.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Kisselman pursued an education at the Metropolitan State University of Denver where he earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering in 1976. He continued his academic efforts at the University of Colorado Denver, graduating with a Master of Science in applied mathematics in 1984. He holds certifications from Microsoft as a SQL server database administrator and a system administrator.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Kisselman has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He was featured in Millennium Magazine and has committed to philanthropy by allocating half of his company’s profits to various charitable organizations, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Wounded Warrior Project, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Kisselman remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Marquis Who’s Who Emerging Leaders.
While Data Gems Lapidary Arts Studio is currently in the production phase, Mr. Kisselman envisions it becoming a renowned name in both the jewelry and art industries, celebrated for the exceptional quality of its materials.
