With 30 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Naylor has excelled as the owner of TBC General Contracting since 2019. Prior to this position, he was active as a project manager for Greco Exteriors in 2003, a senior project manager for Brickey Construction from 2003 to 2010, and the co-owner of TBC Contracting from 2011 to 2019. Previously, he worked on the hot air balloon chase crew for Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Company, Inc. between 1999 and 2003. Mr. Naylor began his career as a weather specialist with the U.S. Air Force from 1994 to 1998, during which time he was additionally recruited as an ASOS manager for the National Weather Service from 1995 to 1996.
To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Naylor pursued an education at Central New Mexico Community College, completing coursework in manufacturing technology between 1999 and 2001. Moreover, he obtained his license as a GB-98 commercial and residential general contractor. Mr. Naylor was drawn to his business as it operates as a continuation of his stepfather’s company, which served residential and commercial customers in New Mexico since 1982 but required his participation following the housing market crash.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Naylor has accrued several accolades throughout his career. In 1994, he was recognized with a Medal from the U.S. Air Force. The recipient of the Super Service Award from Angie’s List in 2020, he was subsequently honored with the Best of the Best National Award in 2020 and 2021. Mr. Naylor was likewise celebrated as a Master Elite Contractor by GAF and among the Top 1 Percent of Contractors in the State by BuildZoom.
Mr. Naylor attributes his success to his dedication to excellence and his commitment to being the best in his field. Among his many accomplishments, he is incredibly proud of operating a successful, award-winning business, which has garnered a high status ranking from two top manufacturers in regard to their quality and volume in roofing. In the coming years, Mr. Naylor hopes to build TBC General Contracting to provide their services throughout new regions in New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, and Arizona while dedicating his spare time to his philanthropic and non-profit activities.
