Before embarking on his professional path, he pursued an education at Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering in 1984. He completed coursework towards a master’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering at the same in 1985.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Islek has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He served as an adviser to the Bishop/Archdiocese Council and held the role of deacon and board member at Syriac Orthodox Church for over 30 years. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Eta Kappa Nu.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Islek has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with the Rising Star Award from Register.com and the Engineer of the Year Award from Protocom Devices Inc. He attributes his success to his immigrant mentality, perseverance, hard work, and dedication to his goal of providing a better future for his family. In the immediate future, he has set an ambitious goal of turning his company into a multi-billion-dollar entity. His aim is to make a significant contribution to society by collaborating with his son, who has expertise in medicine, to develop pioneering and advanced medical solutions and treatments.
