Victoria L. Golden, Owner and Senior Appraiser of the Lost Art Gallery, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in fine arts and antiquities.
Ms. Golden has had a diverse and distinguished career in the fields of fine art appraisals and psychology. She has been an active psychologist for over two decades and was instrumental in creating a renowned counseling and career center at Santa Fe College when she served there as director. She also served as a psychology and career development professor at the college. She later became a Human Resource Consultant to inspire groups to work together in such companies as Dupont, Johnson & Johnson, New York/New Jersey Port Authority, and many not-for-profit organizations.
Ms. Golden currently operates four businesses simultaneously, including Lost Art Gallery, Renaissance Appraisals, Sea Spirits Gallery and the Floating Lotus Therapeutic Spa and Health Center. All of them were started as a mission to help the community. Additionally, she was initiated into the prestigious Explorers Club in 2011 for her contributions in Marine and Ocean Conservation and archaeological contributions as well as leading cultural tours around the globe.
Crediting her success to her unyielding dedication to her mission of creating a positive impact in the world, Ms. Golden utilized these through her businesses where in Sea Spirits Gallery, purchases of items benefit Turtle Conservancy, Ocean.Org and Water.Org. and in Lost Art Gallery consigned pieces can benefit the community’s medical or financial needs. Moreover, she continues to introduce new technologies and therapies to her therapeutic health center to help in pain relief and anti-aging for the community.
Ms. Golden participates as a volunteer for numerous wildlife organizations, such as the World Wide Fund for Nature, Nature Conservancy, Sierra Club, the National Audubon Society and the Turtle Conservancy. She also belongs to multiple professional associations, including the St. Augustine Archaeological Association Inc. and the National Geographic Society, and was the past president of the Palm Beach/Fort Lauderdale chapter of the International Society of Appraisers. Ms. Golden has been recognized with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award.
Ms. Golden has set a goal to inspire and educate younger generations in the upcoming years and to see her children Jennifer and Alexander carry on her legacy. When she is not working, she spends her time in or around the ocean, traveling, painting, helping protect turtle habitats and gardening.
