With nearly 25 years of experience to his credit, Dr. Neto has excelled as the lead cybersecurity consultant with PC-Warriors since 2016 and an associate professor of blockchain technologies at the University of the Cumberlands since 2021. A former lead cybersecurity analyst for Northrop Grumman from 2016 to 2017, he was previously active as a CNS information technology instructor with ITT Technical Institute in 2011, an information assurance instructor with the U.S. Marine Corps from 2011 to 2013, and both a special agent and a Department of Defense information systems security professional with the Defense Security Service from 2013 to 2016. Prior to these positions, he served as an information technology project manager for the Mid-Florida Professional Group from 2004 to 2006, the lead information technology instructor with ITT Technical Institute from 2006 to 2007, and both an information technology coordinator and lead faculty instructor with Southern Technical College from 2007 to 2011. Dr. Neto began his career in the U.S. Air Force, developing computer systems while advancing to the rank of logistics manager between 2000 and 2003.
To support his professional ambitions, Dr. Neto pursued an education at the Community College of the Air Force, part of Air University, earning an Associate of Science in business and logistics management in 2002. He continued his academic efforts at Bellevue University, from which he obtained a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems in 2003 and a Master of Science in business information systems in 2005. Dr. Neto concluded his studies at the University of the Cumberlands in 2021, graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy in information technology.
Dr. Neto has attributed his wealth of success to his upbringing, his determination, his persistence and his unwavering refusal to quit on his projects. A firm believer in the integration of automation into systems that can increase efficiency and quality while saving time and money, he cites his extensive knowledge of automation as the highlight of his career thus far.
