Simultaneously, he served as director of project controls at CH2M in Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco, Washington from 2015 to 2016. His expertise as an oil, gas, and mining project management consultant at ARES Project Management from 2012 to 2015, coupled with his tenure as a project management consultant at ARES Project Management from 2011 to 2012, underscores his proficiency in overseeing complex projects across diverse sectors.
Operating Urban Range, a construction firm operating in Washington’s Tri-Cities area, Mr. Creer spearheads a myriad of projects, including the construction of approximately 200 multi-family and single-family units annually. Notably, he oversees a significant 170-acre development comprising 1,800 residential units, showcasing his capability for large-scale endeavors. Furthermore, he undertakes smaller-scale initiatives, including the construction of up to 40 summer units and high-end custom homes, highlighting his versatility in catering to various client demands and project scopes within the local construction industry.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Creer is deeply committed to civic engagement, serving as the chairman of the Richland Housing Authority since 2010, and actively participating in volunteer activities with the Boy Scouts of America, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and local charities and schools. His dedication to community service aligns with his belief in nurturing meaningful relationships, which he attributes to his success.
Reflecting on his career highlights, Mr. Creer finds fulfillment in his contributions to the retirement of the space shuttle program, where he played a pivotal role in conducting risk analysis for the International Space Station’s Environmental Control and Life Support System. This critical initiative was undertaken in the wake of the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster.
Looking ahead, Mr. Creer envisions retiring and enjoying leisure activities such as golfing and spending time with his grandchildren.
