Mr. Byfield has also cited his work with the State of Utah to direct the division of Facilities Construction and Management, where he implemented the Performance Based Procurement program and was honored as Employee of the Year, among his most impressive achievements.
Mr. Byfield has attributed his success to his steadfast work ethic, his dedication to his career, and his experiences growing up in a lower-middle-class family. He is also grateful for the influence of his multiple mentors, such as Rabbi Alan Bachman, his mother, Betty Jean Byfield, Gerry Adair, a former legislator, and Ron Rule, the founding director of Capital Area Development Authority. Looking toward the future, Mr. Byfield intends to continue providing guidance on products and designs to architecture and engineering firms seeking to establish themselves as full-fledged businesses.
