Dr. Koslow has established a successful career in legal investigative support, security, and consulting services. He currently coordinates legal investigation support for law firms in high-visibility cases, typically prosecuted by the U.S. Department of Defense. Since 2023, he has been a candidate for U.S. Congress while also serving as the principal and owner of Aenigma Investigation Agency, a role he has held since 2019. Additionally, he has been a corporate consultant for the health care industry and the Department of Defense at Oberheiden PC since 2019. His academic contributions include being an adjunct professor at Brandman University from 2013 to 2021.
Dr. Koslow’s career includes significant positions, including regional manager for the special investigations unit at Anthem Inc. from 2016 to 2019, and senior investigator at the same company from 2014 to 2016. He also served as a senior criminal investigator for the Department of Defense Inspector General from 1999 to 2014. He has held senior executive roles in the military, including California State command chief for the U.S. Air Force and California Air National Guard from 2009 to 2011, and human resources advisor from 2004 to 2009. His career began as a supervisory criminal investigator at the Air Force Office of Special Investigations from 1983 to 1999. While in the military, he was awarded The Order of California Medal from the California National Guard with State of California, three U.S. Air Force Commendation Medals and the Department of Justice Special Recognition Award.
Prior to embarking on his professional path, Dr. Koslow pursued an education at the Community College of the Air Force, earning an Associate of Arts in electronics technology in 1997, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice at Chapman University that same year. Later, he earned a master’s degree in policy management from Georgetown University in 2007 and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California in 2024. Furthering his expertise, he is certified in social-behavioral human subjects from the CITI Program and a certified private investigator and qualified manager from the Aenigma Investigation Agency.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Dr. Koslow is actively involved in various community and youth organizations. He serves as rear commodore at the West Lake Yacht Club and is engaged with the Boys and Girls Club, Boy Scouts of America, and Girl Scouts of the United States of America. He is also affiliated with the American Academy of Professional Coders, CaleProcure, the California Association of Licensed Investigators, the National Association of Licensed Investigators, and the National Council of Investigations and Security Services. Furthermore, he is a member of the Leadership Council of the National Small Business Association, the Southern California Fraud Investigators Association, the U.S. Federal Contractor Registration, and the World Association of Detectives.
Dr. Koslow sits on the National Small Business Association leadership council in Washington, DC, where he recognized the need for leaders with managerial experience. He entered his name as a candidate for U.S. Congress in 2023, running for California’s 26th congressional district. To prepare for this role, he engaged with various contacts and individuals who have served in Congress and the Senate to gain a comprehensive understanding of the requirements and challenges associated with such positions.
In the coming years, Dr. Koslow aspires to serve in California’s 26th Congressional District, with his ultimate being to contribute to the country’s progress and help create a better future for all Americans. He is also dedicated to continuing to run his business, which currently has three main focuses: training entry-level investigators to perform under his license, securing more government contracts for investigative and legal support with both federal and state governments, and maintaining his successful efforts in providing investigative legal support to high-visibility clients nationwide.
