For nearly three decades, Mr. Jasaitis has dedicated himself to the field of dance and dance instruction as a champion ballroom dance professional, multi-award-winning instructor, and performance consultant. He is currently the owner of Nerijus Dance, a role he has held since 2020. In this capacity, he interacts with clients from diverse backgrounds to understand their needs, address inquiries, and provide personalized solutions. He has also created a trusted brand with his website, Nerijusdance.com, known for its high-quality instructional videos, offering online dance and private ballroom sessions. Additionally, he is involved with Dancing with the Stars and the Allegro Foundation, a non-profit organization that combines movement instruction with educational and medical expertise to teach children with disabilities and enhance their quality of life.
Previously, Mr. Jasaitis was a professional coach and dance instructor at Queen City Ballroom from 2017 to 2020, where he implemented strategic training regimens tailored to individual client needs and focused on technique refinement, performance enhancement, and competition readiness. Additionally, he worked as a dance instructor at Magic Dance Club from 2013 to 2015. From 2010 to 2013, he was the owner and operations manager of Toro in Lithuania, where he established a dance school for K-12 students, managing competitive classes of 20 to 25 students. He also taught after-school and group classes, preparing students for competitions and showcases, and negotiated contracts with six schools, developing payment plans, evaluations, and guidelines for students and parents.
Mr. Jasaitis pursued an education at Lithuanian Sports University, earning a Bachelor of Science in sports education in 2011. Following this, he earned a Master of Science in sports psychology from the same institution in 2015. To maintain up to date on the latest trends in the field of dance, he is also a member of the National Dance Federation
Mr. Jasaitis has been recognized with numerous awards throughout his career. Notable achievements include being a Eurovision Dance National Finalist in 2008 and receiving the Top Instructor award at the 9th Annual Carolina Ballroom Challenge in 2019. He has also been honored as the Top Teacher at the Tropicana Dance Challenge in 2014 and 2015 and at the North Carolina Classic in 2019. Additionally, he won the Top Instructor award at the 8th Annual Carolina Ballroom Challenge in 2018 and secured 1st Place at the Dancin’ in the Sand event organized by the Clearwater Film Commission in 2014.
In the coming years, Mr. Jasaitis aims to find and purchase a venue for events and spend more time with his family. His primary objective is to establish his own wedding venue and dance studio, where he would have the ability to manage the business side of the company, moving away from the physical aspect of teaching dance and attending competitions. He is currently searching for a location and actively seeking opportunities and exploring potential investment partnerships to realize this goal.
Mr. Jasaitis advises aspiring individuals in his field to prioritize self-discovery and authenticity. While he believes observing and learning from successful figures is beneficial, he emphasizes the importance of not blindly imitating them. He emphasizes finding one’s own identity and recognizing that each person’s journey is unique. Additionally, he underscores the significance of maintaining a positive mindset and keeping the end goal in sight throughout the journey.
