Building on more than 25 years of experience in real estate, Mr. Lacy founded Teddyous Enterprises in 2022. Through this role, he consults with various clients to orchestrate strategy, analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities. Before establishing Teddyous Enterprises, Mr. Lacy served as the managing director of Newmark for eight years. While working with Newmark, he achieved several major accomplishments, including saving Ace Hardware $12 million in costs.
Mr. Lacy established himself with real estate manager positions at Kroger Corporation, Academy Sports + Outdoors and Coldwell Banker Commercial. He began his career in 1998 as a real estate manager at Kmart, where he was mentored in managing commercial property deals. Across his career, Mr. Lacyhas conducted more than $1 billion worth of real estate transactions.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Lacy laid a foundation for success with his education. He initially obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from The University of Utah. Mr. Lacy became licensed as a principal broker as he finished his undergraduate degree. He then earned a Master of Business Administration in marketing from Westminster University (formerly Westminster College), graduating as the youngest member of his class. His academic background has proven to be a key ingredient to his success in real estate.
In addition to his education, Mr. Lacy attributes his success to his personality, persistence, negotiation skills, and drive to teach others. He has developed a reputation for achieving results that surpass expectations, whether overseeing real estate acquisition, locating new opportunities or managing existing portfolios. Mr. Lacy offers his clients expert analysis of market conditions and a holistic understanding of the real estate transaction process, including legal, financial and operational concerns. He prides himself on team building and collaborating with colleagues to accomplish the best possible outcomes for clients.
Beyond his primary vocation, Mr. Lacy has contributed to the world through civic advocacy. He serves on the board of advisors for Guidepoint, a research platform, and as a board member for Sanford Royce, a global media and communications network. Mr. Lacy also holds the position of vice president of the board of the Canyon Place Homeowners Association, reflecting his commitment to improving his community. He further volunteers with the National Head Start Association, a nonprofit supporting underprivileged children.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Lacy enjoys spending time outdoors and maintaining an active lifestyle by riding dirt bikes, snowboarding and skiing. He is a devoted husband and is passionate about high-end sports cars. Looking to the future, Mr. Lacy plans to transition into the field of corporate real estate and hopes to find a single company that he can work with for the rest of his career. His notable success thus far has uniquely positioned him to make a lasting impact on the real estate field.
