Since 2003, she has excelled as the president of Zachary & Associates of Ohio, an independent insurance agency specializing in retirement and senior benefits. Additionally, she co-founded and chairs the South Euclid GardenWalk and is actively involved in her community as a member of the local chamber of commerce. She is a member of Cleveland East Senior Network, and various networking groups. In the past, she did fundraising for the Cleveland Clinic and a battered woman’s shelter, as well as other organizations. She is a board member for several organizations, and is involved in fundraising activities for them. Laying a solid foundation for her success, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in speech communications and sociology from Case Western Reserve University in 1975, and a Master of Business Administration in systems management from Baldwin Wallace College in 1988. She is also certified by the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals, and serves on their working groups for Prescription drugs. Certified as a Registered Social Security Associate (RSSA) in 2024, she helps people determine the best time to retire into their best life, as retirement should never be a guessing game.
Reflecting on her career, Ms. Zachary boasts a wealth of experience in the medical field, having started in pharmaceuticals before moving into medical capital sales. Her pharmaceutical experience proved invaluable when she was approached to assist the State of Ohio with its healthcare program, where she played a crucial role in transitioning Medicaid recipients to cost-effective programs. She later transitioned into the Medicare Market at Prudential Senior Care. In 2003, she founded Zachary and Associates of Ohio, which has thrived under her leadership. She also takes great pride in her dedication to volunteering, using her connections and skills to benefit her community. Notably, her involvement in the working group on prescription drugs will have a profound effect on the state and federal levels.
Ms. Zachary attributes her success to a strong work ethic, impeccable organizational skills, and effective time management. In the coming years, she aims to focus more on networking and actively participating in various charitable organizations and is determined to contribute to philanthropic causes and make a positive impact in her community.
