Richard B. Graibus, president and chairman of Trimeteor Oil and Gas, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the oil and gas industry.
With over five decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Graibus has excelled in the oil and gas industry, specializing in enhanced oil recovery and heavy oil extraction. He is currently the president of Trimeteor Oil & Gas, a role he has held since 2008. Trimeteor Oil and Gas Corporation specializes in enhanced oil recovery using their patented superheated steam technology. He has played a key role in the design, manufacturing, and testing of Trimeteor’s superheated steam generator as a member of the design team and co-inventor. This technology delivers high-quality steam to re-pressurize reservoirs, reduce crude oil viscosity, and stimulate increased production. Their approach focuses on providing efficient and environmentally friendly solutions for oil extraction.
Mr. Graibus also served as the president of GrandView Financial Group LLC, a full-service financial firm dedicated to helping clients build wealth and protect their hard-earned assets, from 1997 to 2008, and co-director of corporate finance at Raf Financial Corporation, a regional securities broker dealer, from 1990 to 1997. With over 30 years of experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and private finance, he has raised funds for diverse industries, including energy, minerals, insurance, banking, high tech, gaming, and consumer goods.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Graibus remains actively involved with various organizations, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a pediatric treatment and research facility, Shriners International, an American Masonic Society, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing animal cruelty, and the Wounded Warrior Project, an American charity and veterans service that offers a variety of programs, services, and events for wounded veterans.
Reflecting on his career, He takes pride in securing five patents and being recognized with the Top 10 Technology in the Oil and Gas Industry award. He also takes pride in his ability to forge partnerships and joint ventures across multiple industries, notably in communications, pharmaceuticals, and energy. He’s known as a “generalist” with a broad understanding of various fields rather than a “specialist” focusing solely on one area. He continuously seeks out emerging industries and opportunities to innovate, collaborate with mentors, and raise funds for various sectors. Laying a foundation for his future success, he pursued an education at Colorado State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in forestry and range management in 1972.
Mr. Graibus attributes his success to his ability to think differently and venture into uncharted territories in the United States and abroad. He prioritizes his faith in God, his family, and then his business interests, which he believes have been the key to his success. In the coming years, he aims to deepen his bond with Christ and his wife and enjoy the pride he feels from his grandchildren’s achievements. He is also dedicated to focusing on his health and participating in philanthropic activities, extending help to those who are less fortunate.
