Ms. Storm has built a successful career in manufacturing and aircraft supply. She has excelled as the owner of START PAC® since 2018 and has held the position of president and chief executive officer since 2007. START PAC®, she specializes in manufacturing a broad range of ground support equipment, including jump starters for electrically started engines and power supplies for military vehicles, tanks, helicopters, and various electrical systems. Her company also produces combination units for industries such as locomotives, medevac, heavy construction, mining, and military applications. In these roles, she manages the company’s financial aspects, addresses customer inquiries, handles sales calls, oversees marketing and advertising efforts, and prepares for trade shows and exhibitions and travels extensively to promote the product line. She also operates a private tutoring business where she instructs children ages 3-21 in subjects such as English, French, Spanish, biology, chemistry, and algebra I and II.
Ms. Storm’s experience also includes being an independent business owner and personal assistant to the president at MCA International in London from 1991 to 1993, and fitness instructor at START PAC®. She also worked as a singer and songwriter in London and Nashville, Tennessee for 15 years and was featured in the “Powerful Women” article in Modern Luxury. Her memberships include the Helicopter Association International, now Vertical Aviation International, National Business Aviation Association, Railway Supply Institute, American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association, Air Line Pilots Association International, Airborne Law Enforcement Association, National Guard Association of the United States, Army Aviation Association of America, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, European Helicopter Association, and National Agricultural Association of America. In light of her impressive undertakings, she has been honored with the Communicator of the Year Award and the French Honor Award from Texas Tech University and has been named to the President’s List and Dean’s List at Texas Tech University. Additionally, START PAC® was recognized for supporting health in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Ms. Storm built a solid foundation with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a bachelor’s degree in history, with minors in science, French, and Spanish, all earned with magna cum laude honors from Texas Tech University. Additionally, she holds a music diploma in classical music and vocal performance from Trinity College of Music, a master’s in clinical psychology from Phillips Graduate University, a Master of Business Administration in aerospace and defense business management from The University of Tennessee and has completed Doctorate coursework in clinical psychology.
Ms. Storm attributes her success to her ability to forge her own path with discipline and motivation. In the coming years, she is dedicated to expanding her company while delivering exceptional service to customers and the community. She will continue to prioritize building meaningful connections with customers, vendors, staff, and personal relationships. Her approach includes initiatives like internet optimization, app development, and collaborations to support local businesses. Alongside her professional goals, she is passionate about creative pursuits such as jewelry design and art collection. She will also focus on personal growth, self-care, and family, remaining open to new opportunities like writing books and screenplays.
