With more than 35 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Marroquin has excelled as the owner and president at Eagle CommerciaL Realty since 2002. Serving a diverse client base comprised of property owners with assets that include office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial properties, he manages real estate sales strategy and handles both the operations and finances within the aforementioned company. In addition to achieving income targets and maximizing returns on investments correlating to his annual budget, Mr. Marroquin assists tenants seeking to lease space within their properties and ensures their requirements are met with complete satisfaction and efficiency.
In the years prior, Mr. Marroquin was active as the vice president of MRO Management between 1996 and 2002. During this time, he further worked as a project manager with The L&B Group from 1989 to 1992. Between 1988 and 1996, he was appointed as the special projects manager with both The Lehndorff Group and The L&B Group. Before embarking upon his professional path, he pursued an education at Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University, from which he graduated with an associate degree in 1975. Mr. Marroquin additionally obtained his license as a real estate broker to best support his ambitions in his field.
Beyond his primary responsibilities, Mr. Marroquin has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his immediate circles. To support his community, he has contributed to his local high school and St. Jude Children’s Hospital as a sponsor. Mr. Marroquin has also dedicated his resources and attention to causes benefitting military veterans in his region.
Mr. Marroquin has attributed his success to the individuals who have supported him over the years, having carefully observed and absorbed their actions and advice to overcome numerous challenges and learn from his mistakes. As a testament to his outstanding accomplishments, he was recognized with a Certified Shopping Center Manager Designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers. Among his most memorable achievements, he is incredibly proud of his leadership skills refined during his property management tenure with The Lehndorff Group in San Antonio, during which time he helped financially stabilize the property so that it could generate income and avoid foreclosure within a year. However, Mr. Marroquin believes the highlight of his life has been raising two healthy and remarkable children.
Mr. Marroquin was drawn to his field after a close friend with a similarly impressive work ethic discussed a potential collaboration at their shopping center in San Antonio. Eventually, he relocated to Dallas, where the two finally launched a new venture. Remaining passionate about his work at the age of 72, he is grateful to have already achieved many of his career goals, and hopes to dedicate his spare time to witnessing the growth and development of his loving grandchildren as the years go forward. Looking toward the future, Mr. Marroquin hopes to continue thriving in his present positions at Eagle Commercial Realty while pondering an impending retirement where he can reflect on his legacy and eventually entertain options to sell his business.
