She has excelled as the founder and chief executive officer of Small Business Insights LLC since 2023 and as the manager of financial planning and reporting at Coronado Coal since 2018. Small Business Insights LLC is dedicated to helping businesses and individuals confidently navigate their financial landscapes. The company specializes in providing tailored financial planning, budgeting, and tax preparation services to empower clients and foster financial growth. Her responsibilities include keeping clients apprised of their business goals, estimating monthly and year-to-date profits, maintaining a rolling forecast for 12 to 18 months, providing monthly updates, preparing the annual budget, and keeping divisions up to date on their costs and budget alignment. Additionally, she oversees capital spending and tracking.

She also served as an accounting supervisor and staff accountant at Hess, Stewart, & Campbell PLLC from 2003 to 2005 and 2002 to 2003, respectively, and as a staff accountant at Stroud & Bass CPAs from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Reflecting on her path, Ms. Vandall laid a solid educational foundation with a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Virginia Intermont College in 1987 and a Master of Business Administration from Radford University in 1988. She is also a certified public accountant. Reflecting on her path, growing up with a father who was a certified public accountant and had his own practice, she was immersed in the field from an early age. Upon graduating, she entered the workforce and found fulfillment in finance and accounting, fields she believes can often be intimidating and stressful for businesses and individuals. She takes great pride in her work with Coronado Coal, especially having been involved during their transition to a public company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, an experience she had not encountered before.
Ms. Vandall attributes her success to her commitment to being the best role model for her children and providing them with the life she aspired for them to have. In the coming years, she aims to expand Small Business Insights LLC and support women in business in achieving their financial goals. Her short-term ambition includes writing a book to guide women through their financial journeys. Ultimately, she envisions making a significant impact by empowering women in finance and entrepreneurship, inspiring them to pursue their dreams with confidence, and fostering a supportive environment where they can thrive free from external judgment.
