Prime Time Sports focuses on first-class event management and planning for premier sporting and corporate events along the West Coast, with an emphasis on youth and amateur athletics. Additionally, he is a supporter of Sport Oregon, serves on various boards and marketing groups, coaches multiple sports, and actively supports youth organizations. In light of his impressive undertakings, he was honored with the Marv Heater Distinguished Service Award by the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association. He laid a solid educational foundation for these successes, earning a Bachelor of Science in business and managerial economics from Willamette University in 1996, and completing an internship with Celebrity Golf Tournament that same year.
Reflecting on his path, Mr. McCallum founded Prime Time Sports in 2006 after gaining extensive industry experience since the age of 22. During his time in college, he completed a senior thesis focused on analyzing the economic impact of a major high school basketball tournament on the local community. His work captured the attention of Les Schwab Tires, who became the title sponsor for the tournament, and he was eventually entrusted with running the event, marking the start of his successful career in sports event management. He attributes his long-term success to his ability to connect with people. He has also successfully engaged major sponsors, building relationships with the next generation of leadership. In the coming years, he remains dedicated to expanding his ongoing initiatives while preserving the legacy of long-standing events. He seeks to mentor and inspire the next generation of passionate individuals who can continue and elevate his work. Additionally, he aims to explore new event opportunities and help athletes navigate the evolving landscape of name, image, and likeness.
