Following his time with Kirby Vacuum Cleaner, he opened his own roofing company, which he managed for eight years. In 2017, he was presented with the chance to join a newly established company, National Championship Enterprises LLC, which does business as Champion Sales and Lease. As the company was in a fledgling phase, he felt that he could have a significant impact on its future direction and on the culture of Louisville, Kentucky, where the business is based. This opportunity also allowed him to provide better care for customers, setting a standard for excellence. With two stores in southern Kentucky and two in Nashville, Tennessee, Champion Sales and Lease offers furniture, electronics, and appliances, making it possible for those who do not want to use credit to buy new products. Initially joining the company as a store manager, Mr. Senior oversaw the Louisville and Nashville region prior to becoming the president and chief executive officer in 2020.
Despite previous struggles, under Mr. Senior’s leadership, Champion Sales and Lease has flourished over the four years he has served has president and chief executive officer. He takes pride in cultivating a work culture where employees thrive and find joy in their work. Reflecting on his career, he attributes his success to his faith and his genuine love and compassion for others, including customers and employees.
