Based in England, OneCycle Group is a carbon-neutral and sustainable nanotechnology research organization that produces high-quality nanoparticle material from magnesium extracted from the sea.
In addition to his role at OneCycle Group, Mr. Argyriou has been the owner and senior managing director at Bellerophon Investment Management Ltd., a private company also based in London, since 2002. Mr. Argyriou’s leadership and expertise have been pivotal in the firm’s success for over two decades, specializing in the mining of non-ferrous metal ores.
Among other noteworthy roles, Mr. Argyrious garnered success as the chief operating officer at Curve Capital Ventures Ltd. in the Republic of Mauritius. From 2008 to 2015, he served as the head of repo at Arbitrage and Futures Fixed Income with Proprietary Trading Book, Yamaichi International Ltd., in London between 1996 and 1998, and was involved in repo trading with Steinhardt Capital Management LLC in New York City from 1994 to 1996. Mr. Argyrious began his career in sales and fixed income just before graduating from college. Hired by Salomon Brothers Inc., a leading investment banking organization in New York City, he gained invaluable experience at the firm between 1983 and 1994.
Mr. Argyriou graduated from Pace University in Pleasantville, New York, in 1984 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in finance and economics. He is presently pursuing a master’s degree to further advance his career. Besides his professional accomplishments, Mr. Argyriou has been active in various professional and civic organizations. He is a member of the European Raw Materials Alliance, Hiram Mason Lodge and the National Rifle Association. He has also been a lobbyist with the U.S. Navy for approximately four decades. Previously, Mr. Argyriou was a trustee for Kings Hospital London and spent over five years coaching American football in the U.K.
Throughout his career, Mr. Argyriou has played a significant role in leading impactful policy changes within central banks. His motivation and steadfast commitment to excellence have also been demonstrated through his work in financial services and corporate asset management in the U.S. and abroad in Asia. His expertise spans fund structures and investment strategies. Additionally, Mr. Argyriou is well-versed in organizational restructuring and mergers and acquisitions. Eager for the future of OneCycle Group, Mr. Argyriou is preparing to erect a plant to pull compounds from the ocean that would double as a desalination plant. Everything that is presently being built is disposable to create perpetual revenue. However, Mr. Argyriou remains interested in building technology that is built to last.
