In the years prior, Mr. Accurso was active as the vice president of IS at National Car Rental from 1979 to 1990, the director of systems development at CVN from 1986 to 1987, the account manager for electronic data systems from 1990 to 1996, and the chief operating officer at Kennsco from 1996 to 1998.
Mr. Accurso initially pursued an education at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1967. He subsequently served in the U.S. Marine Corps between 1967 and 1971, during which time he advanced to the rank of captain. He ultimately concluded his academic efforts at the University of St. Thomas, graduating with a Master of Business Administration in 1979. Mr. Accurso is also a certified franchise consultant, which has been instrumental in his ability to align clients’ aspirations with suitable franchise opportunities.
Mr. Accurso’s expertise extends beyond consulting, having authored “Finding the Best Franchise Fit” for the Minneapolis Star Tribune from 2003 to 2011 and “Entrepreneurial: Buying the Framework and Building a Business” for Finance and Commerce in 2012. Attributing his success to his exceptional work ethic, his desire to collaborate with others, and his unwavering dedication to his field, he has received accolades such as Franchisee of the Year and Highest Revenue Earned Awards.
