With years of experience to her credit, Ms. Atoigue has excelled as the founder and chief executive officer of InTHEknow360 since 2021, a podcast featuring inspiring interviews with entrepreneurs and music icons whose success is directly tied to their respective communities. In addition to heading topical discussions with her guests, she is responsible for structuring the interviews and shining a spotlight on their journeys. Furthermore, Ms. Atoigue assists her clients with their public relations needs, amplifying their reach and exposure within their industry to achieve their branding goals.
In addition to these positions, Ms. Atoigue was active as a program analyst at the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) between 2016 and 2024. During this time, she was also appointed as an COVID-19 epidemiologist for the Bureau of Prisons in Washington, D.C. in 2020, a COVID-19 operations deputy section chief for CCHQ Command Cell in Rockville, Maryland in 2021, and a COVID-19 tester during the Afghanistan Repatriation at Washington Dulles International Airport in Dulles, Virginia in 2021. In the years prior, Ms. Atoigue found success in her own right as a surveillance epidemiologist with the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, part of the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), from 2007 to 2016.
Throughout her tenure with the FSIS, Ms. Atoigue was further recruited as a food safety officer for Emergency Support Function-11 in 2010, a logistics officer at the G45 Nuclear Security Summit in 2010, and an epidemiologist with ACF Disaster Case Management Support in 2011. She previously worked as an executive assistant and assistant facility security officer with National Security Research from 2002 to 2003, an analyst with Community Research Associates from 2003 to 2004, and an office manager and government contractor with the U.S. Secretary of the Air Force Technical and Analytical Support from 2004 to 2007. Ms. Atoigue began her career as an administrative specialist with the U.S. Army Reserve from 1995 to 1999, after which time she served in the same role with the U.S. Army between 1999 and 2002.
To support her professional ambitions, Ms. Atoigue pursued an education at National Louis University, from which she earned a Bachelor of Science in management in 2001. She continued her academic efforts with a Master of Science in sports medicine at the United States Sports Academy in 2004. She ultimately concluded her formal studies at Walden University in 2009, graduating with a Master of Science in public health and community health. Following these accomplishments, Ms. Atoigue refined her skills with a number of certifications in her field, including as a contracting officer representative from Defense Acquisition University in 2015 and in project management from Duke University in 2020.
Beyond her primary responsibilities, Ms. Atoigue has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her immediate circles. She has contributed to the nonprofit organization Rebuild Your Laugh as well as Veterans Growing America and Queen’s Crown’s Women’s Empowerment Event, all of which help support communities in need. An unwavering patron of the arts, she has also provided her services as a publicist to Black Lion and Cubs, a multi-media retro anime brand appealing to a family friendly audience. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Atoigue is incredibly proud of her achievements as a mother to three wonderful children, which she cites the highlight of her life.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Atoigue has accrued several accolades throughout her career. The recipient of multiple Certificates of Appreciation and Letters of Recognition, she was notably presented with a Joint Service Achievement Medal in 2001. She has also been nominated for the Crisis Response Service Award by the U.S. Public Health Service in 2021, and was honored with the COVID-19 Pandemic Campaign Medal in 2021. Moreover, she was celebrated with a Presidential Medal from President Barack Obama for her work with children and families.
