During the first half of his career, Mr. Laglenne focused on advancing his career, gaining tremendous expertise that enabled him to become an expert in his field. Today, he finds fulfillment in advising family-owned businesses and private health companies. Working primarily with organizations valued at approximately $100 million, his role is to enhance their revenue streams by improving human resources and aligning their market strategies.
Beginning his career with Touch Ross & Company (now Deloitte), a Big Four firm in Boston, Mr. Laglenne worked in public offerings as an audit senior from 1988 to 1992 and gained experience in private equity. He then joined Ciba Corning in Medfield, Massachusetts, as an internal audit manager until 1995. Over the next decade, he garnered success in controller positions with Advanced Visual Systems, Firepond (Now FPX) and Akibia Inc., progressing into a global controller from 2004 to 2010. Subsequently, Mr. Laglenne became the assistant vice president of finance and accounting and the chief financial officer for U.S. and NL companies at Zensar Technologies, a $500 million global technology, service and product company in Westborough, Massachusetts, leading global finance, accounting, and legal business units. In 2017, he was recruited by Sitehands, an information technology field services marketplace in Charlotte, North Carolina, as its chief financial officer, where he remained until 2019.
Highly educated, Mr. Laglenne received a Bachelor of Science in accounting, cum laude, from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, in 1988 and a Master of Business Administration in finance, with distinction from the McCallum Graduate School of Business on campus in 1999. He also received a designation as a certified public accountant.
Aside from his primary career endeavors, Mr. Laglenne is active in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of Vistage, an international organization that connects chief executive officers and other leaders to collaborate. Civically, Mr. Laglenne contributes to local initiatives that support homeless and animal shelters and breast cancer research.
Mr. Laglenne’s success has been recognized numerous times. During his tenure at one of his firms, he was invited multiple times to the President’s Club for his contributions despite not being in a sales position. His expertise in finance and ability to optimize revenue streams have been instrumental in his continued growth and accomplishments. Among Mr. Laglenne’s most notable career milestones was his contribution to increasing a local manufacturer’s net income from $1.3 million to over $10 million between 2021 and 2023.
