David L. Wilkins, Sr, Landscape Designer and Supervisor at Roadrunner Service LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in project management, strategy, and management consulting.

Mr. Wilkins is a distinguished landscape designer and supervisor with a career spanning over two decades. He is currently associated with Roadrunner Service and has demonstrated exceptional landscape design and supervision expertise. His tenure at the company has been marked by innovative designs and meticulous project management, establishing him as a respected figure in the field.

Before his current role, Mr. Wilkins was a landscape designer and supervisor at Lawnmax from 2014 to 2021. He worked as a landscape designer at L.P. Landscaping, Inc. for the preceding two years. He also held a similar position with supervisory responsibilities at Morris Landscaping from 2007 to 2009. In addition to his primary profession, Mr. Wilkins has diversified his career by taking on roles outside of landscape design. Since 2013, he has been an executive producer for Rivalry Championship Wrestling and was a producer on 350 Days, a documentary reflecting the behind-the-scenes look at what professional wrestlers go through to bring sports entertainment to their fans. The critically acclaimed film starring Bret Hart is on Amazon Prime, Tubi, and many other platforms.

Along with this accomplishment, Mr. Wilkins was a security officer for Bristol Protective Services LLC and G4S Security Services. Furthermore, he worked as a bartender at Martinsville Inn Caterers from 2007 to 2014. He continues as a bartender at private house parties through NJ Waitstaff and a site called Thumbtack. Working with Thumbtack for at least ten years, he has been hired over 400 times and has 275 5-star reviews. Mr. Wilkins says this job brings him much enjoyment from serving the people he meets.

Mr. Wilkins’ educational background includes some undergraduate coursework for mechanical engineering, where he garnered his experience in drawing. He then switched from mechanical drawing to landscape design by going to Cook College at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, to learn about plants. This experience helped him in the landscape design field. He enjoyed this field, and many of his designs were done by hand. He also supervised the installation of his designs.

Additionally, Mr. Wilkins holds several certifications that have furthered his professional capabilities, including a Certificate Program in Landscape Design from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, a Landscape Industry Certified Technician Exterior from the National Association of Landscape Professionals, an S.O.R.A. Security Officer Card from the New Jersey State Police and three bartending licenses from NJ, NY, and PA through Rserving.com.

Mr. Wilkins was inspired by his father, who took him to work with him on Saturdays when he was twelve at a company making restaurant equipment with stainless steel. This is where Mr. Wilkins learned about reading blueprints and, in turn, took an interest in drawing. His father also inspired him to work hard and set goals for self-improvement. One difference was that Mr. Wilkins wanted to be more in management rather than doing labor work.

Mr. Wilkins is committed to working hard, and even if it is something you do not like to do, work as best as you can to complete the task. In today’s world, Mr. Wilkins believes you can no longer depend on one job. It is better to be diversified. Mr. Wilkins also likes staying busy. He feels if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish realistic goals by staying focused, attending church weekly, and keeping the faith. As a small part of giving to society, he is a regular blood donor.
