With nearly five decades of experience, Mr. Hines has established a successful career in software engineering. He currently serves as co-founder and chief executive officer of 8Quanta, a position he has held since 2017, where he directs the company’s strategic growth, oversees client engagement, and drives solution development for Oracle and Netsuite software applications. Under his leadership, 8Quanta has achieved multiple partnership levels with Oracle, including alliance, development, and payment solution partnerships. His experience also includes principal consultant in finance, business, and ERP solutions, focusing on technology and business strategy from 2016 to 2017, principal PS consultant at Netsuite from 2015 to 2016, senior project manager at Kovalik Enterprises from 2014 to 2015, and business solutions consultant at Mobile Warrior, LLC from 2013 to 2014. He also served as partner and principal consultant at Infinet Systems from 1995 to 2012, president and chief executive officer of Local Access Internet and Telephone Company from 1993 to 2000, finance director for capital acquisition at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute from 1991 to 1992, and vice president and chief financial officer of First Choice Inns from 1985 to 1991.
Laying an educational foundation, Mr. Hines earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and economics from Southwestern Adventist University in 1976 and completed coursework in natural medicine and quantum healing at Quantum University in 2016. He also dedicates his time as a volunteer firefighter for the City of Ferndale Fire Department, a coach for Chehalis Babe Ruth Baseball, and a teacher at Windworks Fellowship. He is also an author, having published “Lost and Found,” which explores themes of personal discovery and spiritual awakening, and runs a YouTube channel, “Talking Jesus by Gerald Hines,” focusing on discussions about faith and spirituality. Currently, he is working on a second book, “Secret of Life,” and is developing the website bankofheaven.com with his wife, as a platform for people worldwide to share prayer requests. Reflecting on his path, he takes pride in attaining three levels of Oracle partnership and establishing a development partnership to integrate Oracle products with custom solutions. He also developed a credit card payment solution partnership, enhancing financial transaction capabilities for clients. He attributes his success to perseverance, the unwavering support of his wife, and his faith. Looking to the future, he aims to expand the global reach of Netsuite software to over 1,000 clients and present it to Oracle for broader implementation.
