Additionally, he owned and operated a repair station and MRO business with two partners and served in the United States Air Force for 11 years. Laying a strong educational foundation, he completed college coursework at the Community College of the Air Force. He is also actively involved with the Maintenance Base Aviation Association, an organization representing the civil aviation sector, focusing on smaller aircraft and engines, such as those used in light aircraft and Beechcraft planes.
