From 1998 to 2014, he was the founder and technologist at ACS Tech in the Greater New York City area, where he laid the groundwork for his future endeavors. For over 15 years, Mr. Grau offered an array of services to clients, including expert on-site Mac and PC support. He also designed, deployed and managed IT systems, networks and cloud computing platforms. Among other services, he worked closely with clients in the real estate, law, film and advertising sectors on various projects.
Mr. Grau’s tenure as a regional genius at Apple Retail from 2010 to 2012 was also instrumental in developing his technical acumen and customer service skills. Earlier, he served as the director of IT at Khronos LLC between 2001 and 2009. Other career opportunities included roles as a project manager and Citrix administrator at System Arts Inc. from 1998 to 2001, a T1 integrated services digital network technical specialist at Intercall between 1996 and 1998, and a programmer at Hudson United Bank from 1992 to 1993.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Grau completed college coursework at Thomas Edison State University and Harvard University, which provided him with a strong foundation in business and technology. He also garnered several professional certifications that have contributed to his success, including being an Addigy certified expert, a silver-certified partner with Synology, an Apple certified technical coordinator, and a Microsoft-certified systems engineer. He also earned a computer programming certification from The Chubb Institute of Technology. These credentials have equipped Mr. Grau with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the IT industry.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Grau is actively involved in industry-related organizations, such as the Apple Consultants Network, the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement and the Forbes Technology Council. His commitment to civic engagement is evident through his roles as a board member of the Leonia Board of Education, technology officer for the ACS Home and School Association, and member of the Bergen County Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Grau is also a donor to See Spot Rescued and various cancer research initiatives. Moreover, his contributions extend to writing as the author of “Hispanic Stars Rising Vol. V.”
