Malachi Andrew Allgood, owner and founder of M&M Fiber Solutions LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in telecommunications.
Beginning his professional journey in his home state of Tennessee, Mr. Allgood gained significant experience in the fiber industry. He specialized in working on security systems, including cameras, health department installations and key card systems. Mr. Allgood continued this path after moving to Mississippi in 2020, where he then founded his own company, M&M Fiber Solutions LLC. As the organization’s owner, he oversees all projects and manages paperwork and documentation.
Across the last five years, Mr. Allgood has led M&M Fiber Solutions LLC to multiple major milestones. Despite starting with no funding and no resources besides his $2,000 pickup truck and a ladder rack, he has grown the business efficiently, expanding gradually and without needing to take on loans or debts. Mr. Allgood is especially proud of having secured a contract with Unitech, an international corporation with a strict selection process. Through winning this contract, he has begun building a lasting partnership that continues to open up new opportunities for him and his business.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Allgood established a second company, Allgood Trucking LLC, in 2024. He initially pursued this business idea earlier, but its rollout was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now fully underway, Mr. Allgood provides cargo and freight services as well as his fiber offerings. He takes pride in his ability to begin a project from scratch and construct its complete infrastructure, bringing essential services to the people in the region.
Before venturing onto his professional path, Mr. Allgood set a strong foundation for himself in his education. He graduated from Fellowship Christian Academy in 2008. Mr. Allgood has further backed up his skills in telecommunications by earning federal contract certification, opening him up to a wider range of opportunities for M&M Fiber Solutions LLC. Among his many skills, he has showcased expertise in aerial and underground fiber installation, fiber-to-home solutions, and precision fiber splicing.
Long dedicated to uplifting his community alongside his work, Mr. Allgood has made a point of actively engaging in civic advocacy that is meaningful to him. He regularly donates to his local fire and police departments in support of their services. Mr. Allgood also sees the benefits of his career in enriching nearby areas. He has recently taken on more projects in remote, rural locations across multiple states, some so remote that they don’t even have a grocery store within a 30-minute radius. By improving the telecommunications infrastructure of these areas, M&M Fiber Solutions LLC is playing a key role in helping keep them connected to the outside world and able to access necessary services efficiently.
Outside of his career, Mr. Allgood has been happily married since 2010 and is a loving father to two sons and a new baby girl. When not working, he devotes his free time to his family. Mr. Algood harbors ambitious goals for the future, with a focus on continued growth for M&M Fiber Solutions LLC. While ensuring the company’s success, he also hopes to be a good steward as a business owner, making sure his employees receive better pay, improved benefits and a better life overall.
