Earlier in his career, Mr. McElroy launched EveryDay Office Inc. in 1999, one of the first application service providers offering comprehensive business platforms for small businesses during the dot-com boom. Despite setbacks following September 11th, he successfully negotiated an exit for investors when the company was sold at a profit in under 10 years. Mr. McElroy soon founded Corporate Performance Artists in Manhattan in 2002, an early SEO firm that expanded through partnerships with leading media buying agencies.

Earlier still, Mr. McElroy held titles such as chief executive officer of McElroy Consulting Associates from 1995 to 1999, database and publishing consultant at Kaplan Interactive from 1996 to 1999, and programming consultant at Interflex between 1995 and 1996. He also established Fine Arts & Software Inc., developing innovative methods for building information modeling using AutoCAD and databases, between 1993 and 1994. Civically, Mr. McElroy is active with the Rotary Club of New York. His impactful work with The POINT Community Development Corporation in Hunts Point, South Bronx, one of New York City’s most underserved communities, has been instrumental in developing after-school programs that empower youth through art education. His Signature Flower, now Identity Flower, program has also helped students reframe their identities beyond their circumstances or criminal records. Mr. McElroy also supports numerous other initiatives, including Pioneers Rising and the Rural Urban Bridge Initiative and provides grants and technical assessments for small nonprofits in the Bronx.

Throughout his career, Mr. McElroy has been recognized for embracing creativity within organizations. Among his accolades, he received a Top Technical Award from IBM for his contributions to internet technologies and a Swiss Army Knife Award from Marriott International, honoring his versatility in content creation. He also received recognition from Our State Magazine as the Best Hotel and Top Roadside Lodging in North Carolina for the Meadowlark Motel’s success. His hands-on leadership during Hurricane Helene was highlighted in local newspapers after he saved two individuals from danger. In recognition of his civic work with The POINT Community Development Corporation, he received top civic engagement honors from Congressman Serrano, representing New York’s 15th Congressional District.

Looking ahead, Mr. McElroy remains committed to rebuilding after recent national setbacks while raising young children. He aims to generate greater recognition so that opportunities come through referrals, allowing him more time with his family, and to continue advocating for small businesses across America.
